Anyone got any more news for 2011?  Anyone on the CR board on these forums?

I completely forgot about the new casino laws that were passed Sad

I really hope money comes around somehow. I would do anything to keep Capital active, but of course, with the economy the way it is, money is something I don't have :/

I know Rick is getting money by loaning out equipment and trucks this year.  I am sure they will have the funds to march in 2011, but the thing is, with the economy the way it is and the passage of the new Ohio casino laws, bingo is struggling; and that is the main revenue source for Capital Regiment.  I know the goal is to sustain the corps for many years in a row and get back to world class.  Maybe a staff or bored member can give a better insight as I am just a former member.

Hello everyone,

I was just a little curious, but what are the chances that Capital comes back next year for tour in 2011?

Thanks everybody!

Hello Folks,

I just spoke with Roman Blenski, Executive Director of Pioneer.  He wanted to find out if I knew of any members that were available to fill a spot in a corps for the 2010 Summer Season.  This is a perfect opportunity for someone who may have had other things happening and didn't have a chance to audition for a corps.

     Pioneer is looking to fill:

1 Tuba Spot
2 Baritone Spots
1 Cymbal Spot
Guard - As many as would be available.

If you are available and interested in filling one of the open spots at Pioneer, feel free to give Roman Blenski a call.  You can reach him on his cell phone.  That number is 414.333.2235.

The corps leaves on tour on Monday, June 21, 2010.  They have their show completed.  You can step in, learn the show and perform all summer.

In addition, I know after 2006 most everybody went separate ways but I want to let everybody know that Capital Regiment stays in my thoughts to this day.  That summer made me really discover a talent that I wasn't sure that I really had and now I am making a living by being in a drumline.  Don't ever forget your roots!

Hello all,

Seeing the 2010 season approaching so very very quickly, I am realizing how much I love and miss each and every one of you. Thank you Rick, the rest of the 2009 staff and membership for one of the best experiences of my life.

Be Blessed,

Jordan
