Capital Regiment November Audition Camp

Capital Regiment’s Audition Camp is growing closer.  In preparation, we want to make sure that everyone has the information needed to help make the process as streamlined as possible.  We are asking each person who will be attending the November Audition Camp to do some things prior to the camp.  The list below will indicate what needs to be done and why we need them.

1.   On our Home page, you will see a section called Membership.  Click that button and you will be taken to the Membership page.

2.   Print and read the Information Guide.
A.   This will answer many questions you may have.  It is also encouraged you allow your parents/legal guardians read this too.  It will explain much about the process and will help answer their questions.

3.  Complete the Online Application
   A.  This is so we can build our online database.

4.   If you are under the age of 18, please print the PDF version of the Consent Agreement.
A.   This is required for anyone under the age of 18.  This allows us the ability to provide for you in the case of an emergency or if we need to transport you during camps.

5.   Each person will need to print the PDF version of the Member Application
A.   This application will be required from each person.  When you open the PDF file, the title is ‘Capital Regiment 2009 Membership Application’.  This is important as it is more comprehensive than the Online Application.  This will become part of your Member File.  So make sure you print and complete this document to speed up your process during registration.

6.   Complete the Online RSVP.
A.   This mechanism is important as it plays multiple purposes for camps.  We use this to inform the staff of the number of people attending for each camp for each section.  Also, if you are flying to Columbus or riding Greyhound, you would provide that necessary information in the RSVP to ensure the information has been received by the office and we can make arrangements to pick you up.

B.     Starting November 1, 2008, please complete the RSVP form.  We will clear out the current RSVP and start clean with the understanding that anyone submitting a form on or after November 1, 2008 will be attending the Audition Camp.

7.   For Brass and Percussion personnel, select the Music Downloads.
A.   For your respective segment, brass or percussion, print the Music that we have up.  This will be used during the Audition Process.  It is available here and should accompany you to camp.

The November camp will be held at:

         Walnut Ridge H. S.
         4841 E. Livingston Ave.
         Columbus, OH   43227

         November 21 - 23, 2008

Registration will begin at 7:00 p.m. and rehearsal will begin at 9:00 p.m.

** Important:  Please do what you can to arrive more toward the 7:00 p.m. time frame.  There are often times things going on at Walnut Ridge and when they are doing their functions and we have people waiting for us for the start of Registration, this has sometimes caused a bit of confusion.  So, if you could help us out and not arrive to much earlier than 7:00 p.m, that would be greatly appreciated.
