Hi, I'm Michael.  If I had had the chance to audition this year for '09, I would be auditioning for tenors.  However, due to other activities, such as prepping for college music school auditions, and financial issues, I couldn't come audition for Capital Regiment this year.  Besides, when you're hoping to get into Jacob's School of Music, you have no time for anything else. Cry

...but, for sure, I'll be seeing all (or most) of you guys at the '10 auditions.  And to those who make the corps, good luck with the season! Wink

Hahaha.  That's actually a lot like a couple of my friends.  Well, just to state something, I played on my practice pad today, and decided I would practice while using traditional grip (it is interesting, since I've spent the last three years playing matched on tenors).  What I found is that I am better playing trad instead of matched.  So now pops the question: should I audition for tenors, which is what I played for the last three years, or audition for snare, which is a more comfortable grip, but due to a broken elbow in middle school, I do not get a full 12 inches of height unless I use a combination of Moeller and up-stroke?

BTW, I just typed this whole message using my new iPod Touch!

EDIT:  Never mind the question, I've already got the answer: TENORS.
