Lol, Solo & Ensemble. I don't even know if we are doing that in HS since we have to host it. I hope so though, it's kinda fun. "The Connecticut Halftime" was fun to play

Yeah, S&E, I've gotta do a marimba solo (Etude in C Major) for it, as well as a drumset solo.  Got a lot of work to do, since I've also got to do Indiana all-state auditions and college auditions for JCFA (Butler), Jacob's (IU-Bloomington), and Ball State.

On- topic, HAPPY NEW YEAR.

What's your new year's resolutions.

Me, I have one: manage my money better (aka bring my lunch to school to save money for corps).

My resolution is to find a way to go to college, major in chemistry, learn Japanese and French, be in the marching band, learn how to play jazz piano really well, and then after I graduate, go back to college to learn how to be a pharmacist.

You know, we had this instructor at my school this year who I disliked very much who threatened to make a kid run with his sousaphone on. He also was trying to make me run with my snare on for messing up a part, which I thought was bull because he never explained the numerous changes he made to me and expected me to play them first go. Lol, but the kid did run with the tuba, I never ran, i refused

running with a sousaphone is cake, you dont actually have to hold it. A contra not so much.
