09'ers coming back for 2010

If it makes you feel anybetter...I got my contract when I was 14. Marched over the summer at 15. I was the youngest person in the corps on an instrument I didn't even play really before drum corps. Don't worry about age...it's whether or not your mature enough and show you can work through everything. it's not that bad

Thanks guys. My band just had a BOA comp over the weekend and we made finals for the first time in 2 years I got to do my rifle solo and slammed it!(I can't belive my instuctor gave me a RIFLE SOLO!!!) I think I can do this! Now I'm even more excited to go to the nov. camp now! You all are very nice people I can't wait to meet you!

hey Victoria!

i wouldnt worry too too much! i marched last year and plan on coming back this year. i will be at the november camp too. last year, i was just like you. i was coming out of sophmore year when i found out.. i didnt even know what drum corps really was until my friend michael corey *love you babe* randomly came up to me and my girls and said hey, you do you guys want to come to a camp and learn some cool flag stuff? me and my girls didnt really have a clue of what we were doing, but they pushed for me to go and i did.. i was the baby of the guard at 16 and having only two years behind me too. if you have any questions or ever want to talk, my number be 419/250/5937 drop me a call or text.. it will be a little scary and intimidating at first.. heck, i was intimidated when there were only five other people! ^^ and even this year im pretty nervous.. but come and check it out anyhow! nothin hurts to try does it?

well said claire. i was intimadated as well && i've done guard for 4 seasons. you'll be fine victoria. no worries.  (:
i'm hoping to come back this year, depends on what goes on with college stuff.. but if i do make it to the first camp, i won't be there the whole time since i have night school that friday && saturday, so i'll try my best to be there for as much as i can. (:
