Hello all,
My name is Jarred, and I'm a tenor hopeful. Does Anyone (preferably a battery member) have any tips that could help me have the best chance of making it?
Thanks,
Jarred

Jarred,
If the battery packet is still up, I would suggest looking over all of the exercises.  If it's not up, it will be soon I'm sure.  Work on all of your rudiments, technique, memorize all of the music, and practice in front of a mirror.  You will be your best critic.

No cuts will be issued in November.  We like to see the progression that each auditionee makes and we feel it is unjust to make a decision after the first camp.  We, as a staff, also like to let everyone know where they stand and what the need to do in order to give them self the best possibility of making the line at Capital Regiment.

My best advice....Come with a positive attitude and be open minded.  A lot of 1st time "campers" like to think the best way is their way.  Remember, you are auditioning for Capital Regiment and you need to play with the technique we use.  Be ready to learn and stay positive always.

We look forward to your audition and thank you for your interest!
